AFTER a goal-less first half Whitehill
took the lead in the 65th minute when captain Ross
Johnston drilled in a Darren Pryde corner kick.
Whitehill then controlled the game but were guilty of
missing numerous chances. Then, in the dying seconds of
the game Alan Cornett was adjudged to have brought down
Berwick's Jamie Gibson. Up stepped Mark Stephenson
to score from the penalty spot to temporarily deny
Whitehill a place in the semi-finals.
