Colin Campbell Sports League Cup, Saturday 8th September 2007
Eyemouth United 0
Whitehill Welfare 4
WHITEHILL opened the scoring on 25
minutes when Paul Devlin latched onto a through
ball and slid the ball underneath the onrushing Walters.
The second goal came after 63 minutes, Andy Doig
picking the ball up from 25 yards out and lashing it just
inside the left upright, giving Walters no chance.
Number three came after 77 minutes. Andrew Kidd cut the
ball back to Calvey after enticing Walters out of his
goal, and Calvey was left with an easy tap in.
A low cross into the near post by Steven Pusledzki
deflected off James Wilson into his own net for Welfare's
fourth.
