Whitehill went ahead in the 5^th minute when Devlin (yards offside according to some reports) shot home past a startled Wright in the Star goal.

Gary Calvey had a great chance for Welfare in the 52^nd minute but he shot wide with only the keeper between him and the net. There were chances for both sides after this but it wasn’t until the 78^th minute that the issue was settled when Whitehill struck again.

Calvey got the ball 30 yards out, raced through and shot into the net for the second.
