Civil Service Strollers 0 Whitehill Welfare 4
Welfare
didn't break the deadlock in this game until just on
half-time. A run and cross from McDonagh was turned home
by Hogarth of the home side with Walker's pressure forcing
the mistake.
The
Strollers had a chance to equalise on the hour mark but
Devlin missed and and Welfare responded with greater
urgency. A fine move ended with Christie supplying a
perfect cut-back for Wilkes to slam the ball home from
close-in and then moments later it was Wilkes again who
beat Bejaoui to the ball to make it 3-0.
Welfare
set the seal on a fine second half attacking display when
Walker's dangerous cross was knocked in by Strollers'
Livingstone to complete the scoring.
