WEARY WELFARE LIMP HOME IN TITLE CHASE

Whitehill top the East Premier League despite losing 2-0 to Edinburgh University on a day when a point would have clinched the Championship. Only a 9-0 defeat at Annan can lose Welfare the title in their last match by virtue of a superior number of goals scored in the East League Season.

It's back to back cup ties with Spartans in the next seven days. The King Cup quarter final takes place on Tuesday night and then the League Cup Final on Sunday 18th May at the Pennypit in Prestonpans with a 2pm kick off.
